Swim suit: A team suit is not required but is preferred for meets. A suit designed for competitive swimming is highly recommended for all meets. This year we have new Speedo options for all swimmers as well as a new DR Jolyn suit available.

Our 2026 Donaldson Run team swimsuits are available for purchase now, at Sport Fair (5010 Langston Blvd.). These suits will also be available for purchase at the Ice Cream Social event on Sunday, May 17th.

Swimmers can choose any suit they would like for practices, but it is highly recommended that they wear a suit designed for competitive swimming (bikinis, trunks, and board shorts are discouraged because they slow swimmers down in the lanes).

Regarding technical suits: Per NVSL rules, technical suits cannot be worn by any 12 & Under swimmer. Among other things, a tech suit has bonded seams. SportFair can answer additional questions on what is permissible.

Swim goggles: Goggles are highly recommended for all swimmers.

Swim caps: Caps are also highly recommended for all swimmers. We will have latex caps available upon request, but many swimmers find silicone caps to be more comfortable and longer lasting. You can order your personalized silicone DR cap via SportFair, before May 5th.

*Note: You are strongly encouraged to wear a DR cap at all meets/events. NVSL does not permit swimmers at NVSL events (A meets, etc.) to wear swim caps with name/image from any team other than their NVSL team.

Towel: Self-explanatory!

Please put your swimmer's name on ALL equipment in case something is lost!
